Sound Healing

PRIVATE SOUND-HEALING SESSIONS

I offer private individual Gong sound-healing sessions featuring multiple Gongs. I also sometimes include handpan, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, tuning forks, tingshas, shamanic drum, native flute, mbira, sansula, rainstick, shakers, didgeridoo, crystal singing pyramid, chimes, toning and celestial channeled vocals as requested or inspired to help balance and harmonize the body mind and spirit.
As well as Sound-Healing, for one For one-on-one sessions I can incorporate energy clearing, Higher Self connecting and Heart based blockage release as requested.
Rates are $90 -$120 sliding scale for a session in my home. You may bring up to 3 additional people with you for $25 per person and turn the session into more of a "private sound bath experience" rather than an individual session if you'd like. (we would skip the messge table and everyone would lie on the carpet)
Appointments are about 90 minutes long, (with a full 60 minute sound session) focusing extensively on the Gong (as I feel it to be the most profound for clearing and re-patterning) but I also may include other healing instruments for balancing and rejuvenation. you can also request focus however you would like as well.

I am in the Beaverton Oregon area near 185th & Farmington.
My set up is a massage table with gongs on stands at both the head and feet of the massage table and powerful crystals under the table.

What is a Sound Bath or Sound Healing?
Sound healing has one intention, to move us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance.
A sound therapy treatment is both a passive and participatory experience. The passive aspect is that you become more relaxed by laying down and slowing your breath. By doing this, you prepare yourself to become the receiver of sound. It's in this place of stillness that you participate by becoming more open and aware of each sound that comes in. Sound helps create the pathway to this place of stillness the same as a mantra helps you to arrive at the still point of meditation.
Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entrainment. Entrainment synchronizes our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency which the brainwave can attune to. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves and it then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur).
